Impending Disaster: Professor Hasn’t Noticed YouTube Set to Autoplay Next Recommended Video

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has raised the disaster warning level to “Red” for a local Northwestern University mathematics course currently being taught over Zoom. The warning came after Professor Robert Williams played a YouTube video without noticing the autoplay feature was enabled.

As a result, there is a “critical likelihood” that the class may be subjected to the first few seconds of “Family Guy funniest and savagest Stewie moments—season 12,” which is the first recommended video set to autoplay once “Visualizing binomial distribution—Khan Academy” has finished.

Students in the class can only watch in horror as Professor Williams continues his lecture with his screen shared, watching the seconds on the doomsday clock tick down until the autoplay begins. Some have attempted to contact the professor through the Zoom chat in the vain hopes he knows what that is or how to check it—but, unfortunately for the students, the odds of this happening are slim to none.

FEMA recommends that anyone in the class prepare for the autoplay video by turning their volume down and keeping a straight face once the savage Stewie montage begins. Anyone who may have a friend or loved one in the Zoom class is urged to contact them and make sure they are safe.
