University President Morton Schapiro recently went on a Tinder date during Game One of the World Series, according to FOX sports reports.

The two were seen bundled for warmth underneath the romantic lights of a Fenway Park box.

Schapiro released a statement saying he had a sweet time with his clandestine date. “It was awesome, a really low-key thing… I made it clear from the start the only third base he was getting tonight was a Manny Machado triple!”

Schapiro’s date responded positively to Schapiro’s tinder bio “Looking for a shorty over forty? Get a piece of Morty!”

Sources close to Schapiro say the two have exchanged phone numbers, and Schapiro is considering deleting the app for the fourteenth time.
