Live-Streamed Execution Inspires Twelve-Year-Old Twitch Streamer to Kill Cat
Inspired by Secretary of War Pete Hegseth and the Trump administration’s decision to live-stream the execution of Fort Hood shooter Nidal Malik Hasan, a twelve-year-old gaming Twitch streamer killed his cat this past Wednesday.
The streamer, Timmy Longfellow from the suburbs of Omaha, Nebraska, runs a gaming channel called “TimmyLikes2Play,” where he often showcases his “epic Fortnite battle royales” for an average two-person audience. However, the recent news of a live-streamed execution made Timmy think about the way that he might get more views.
The unfortunate culprit was Mr. Whiskers, the Longfellow family’s calico cat. Mr. Whiskers, about three years old, was rescued from the Omaha Animal Shelter after his owners left him in an empty Runza. He has quickly become the best friend of Timmy and his little sister, Sophie, who has just started fifth grade.
The execution was carried out when Timmy live-streamed an, in Timmy’s words, “epic 360-degree kickflip” on his Razor scooter and landed squarely on Mr. Whiskers.
“I just thought that it would make me the most epic Fortnite GOAT,” Timmy said. “And if Mr. President Trump can do it, then why can’t it? I can’t think of a better role model.”
His parents, though initially shocked by the incident, say that they would vote for Trump if he ran for a third term. George Longfellow, Timmy’s father, says that they now at least know the answer to if cats have nine lives.
The live stream has four million views on Twitch and climbing. Twitch CEO Dan Clancy has refused pressure to take the video down.
“Are you fucking kidding? This is the best thing I’ve seen on Twitch all year. Do you want to watch some loser play Rainbow Six Siege in their parents’ basement all day?” Clancy commented in an official press briefing.
Mr. Whiskers’ funeral will be hosted this Friday. The Longfellow family asks, in lieu of flowers, to donate to the MAGA super PAC.
